If there is a service that always listens to user feedback, it is Buffer. On Wednesday, the team announced the introduction of a long-requested feature: the ability to post and schedule updates to LinkedIn Company Pages.
Launched only a few weeks after the addition of Google+ to the Buffer list, the new feature can be implemented from the 'Connect a Social Network' area in the admin panel. Here are the next steps:
Click the 'Connect a Page' link under the LinkedIn iconUse your LinkedIn credentials to log in to your accountSelect 'Allow access'Finally, choose your page.Note that your updates can contain images, videos and links. Additionally, you can track how well what you share is doing, by checking the engagement metrics (comments, likes, reach, reshares, and clicks) in the Analytics section.
"Especially as LinkedIn has become more and more content focused with @mentions, an amazing influencer blogging program and more, it’ll be exciting to see how Buffer might help to keep your stream flowing on your company page," says co-founder and CMO, Leo Widrich on the Buffer blog.

Storify joined the Livefyre team on Monday. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
According to both companies, free account holders will be able to continue using the social curation platform like they did before the acquisition. The same goes for Business and VIP customers, who will still have access to the features included in these subscriptions.
"In the future, we plan to integrate Storify’s VIP product into Livefyre’s enterprise offerings, giving publishers and brands an easy way to blend social media into everything they do," says the Storify Blog. "This means we'll be able to add long-requested features like single sign-on, centralized story and editor management, and engagement analytics."
Storify currently has more than 850,000 users.
